High resolution
images are jpegs caputured on a Nikon digital SLR camera, 35mm film or
Bronica 6x6. Once opened and uncomressed in Photoshop the images are generally
at least 17MB - 10"x8" at 300dpi. These full size images are available
as well as a selection of smaller sizes for other uses. An original Jpeg
is the same quality as a Tiff file and only loses quality of repeated
opened and resaved. We recommend that if you intend to use an image frequently
that you save a copy of as Tiff or PSD once downloaded. A 300dpi image
that is A4 is only around 3MB compared to 17MB as a tiff file. This means
that even designers with slow modems can easily download the best quality
images. If you find that you require a higher resolution than that provided
by the download, simply contact us at sales@ImageStoreUK.com
and will will send you a higher resolution scan to your requirements.
